AppLock Max – Terms of Use

## 1. General Provisions

AppLock Max (“Application”) is a service developed by RedLightApps to provide application security on your mobile devices. By accepting these Terms of Use (“Terms”), your rights and responsibilities for using the Application are established.

### 1.1 Acceptance and Consent

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Application.

### 1.2 Age Restriction

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Application. If you are between 13-18 years old, you must use the Application under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

## 2. License and Usage Rights

### 2.1 License Grant

RedLightApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes.

### 2.2 Usage Restrictions

You agree not to perform the following actions:

– Reverse engineer, extract source code, or modify the Application

– Disable or bypass the Application’s security features

– Use the Application for illegal purposes

– Copy, distribute, or sell the Application to third parties

– Use automated systems or bots to disrupt the Application’s functionality

– Monitor others’ devices without permission or violate privacy rights

## 3. Application Features and Services

### 3.1 Core Features

The Application offers the following core features:

– Application locking (PIN, Pattern, Biometric)

– Stealth mode and icon camouflage

– Wrong password alerts

– Smart app detection

– Focus mode

– Custom lock screen messages

– Fake error screen

### 3.2 Premium Features

Additional features are offered with premium subscription:

– Ad-free experience

– Advanced lock animations

– Custom themes

– Priority support

– Access to future premium features

### 3.3 Service Changes

RedLightApps reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Application’s features without prior notice.

## 4. Subscription and Payment

### 4.1 Premium Subscription

A paid subscription is required to access premium features. Subscription fees are collected through Google Play Store.

### 4.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

### 4.3 Refund Policy

Refund requests are subject to Google Play Store’s refund policies. In-app purchases are generally non-refundable.

### 4.4 Price Changes

RedLightApps reserves the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be notified to existing subscribers in advance.

## 5. Privacy and Data Security

### 5.1 Data Collection

The Application’s data collection and usage practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of these Terms.

### 5.2 Local Data Storage

Lock passwords and settings are stored locally on your device. RedLightApps cannot access your passwords or locked app lists.

### 5.3 Permissions

The Application requires the following permissions for functionality:

– **Accessibility Service**: For app locking feature

– **Usage Data Access**: To detect which apps are opened

– **Camera/Fingerprint**: For biometric authentication

– **Notifications**: For lock status notifications

– **Foreground Service**: For continuous background protection

### 5.4 Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services:

– Google AdMob (Advertisements)

– RevenueCat (Subscription management)

– Firebase (Analytics and performance monitoring)

## 6. User Responsibilities

### 6.1 Account Security

It is your responsibility to keep your lock password secure. If you forget your password, you can regain access using the recovery key.

### 6.2 Legal Use

You agree to use the Application only for legal purposes and in a manner that does not violate the rights of others.

### 6.3 Device Compatibility

A compatible Android device and operating system are required for the Application to function properly. RedLightApps is not responsible for issues that may occur on incompatible devices.

## 7. Intellectual Property Rights

### 7.1 Copyrights

All content, design, logos, graphics, and source code of the Application are the exclusive property of RedLightApps and are protected by copyright laws.

### 7.2 Trademarks

“AppLock Max” and related logos are trademarks of RedLightApps. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

## 8. Disclaimer and Warranty

### 8.1 “As Is” Service

The Application is provided “as is” and “as available.” RedLightApps makes no warranty that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

### 8.2 Data Loss

RedLightApps is not responsible for data loss, device damage, or other damages that may result from using the Application.

### 8.3 Third-Party Applications

The Application interacts with third-party applications but is not responsible for the content or security of these applications.

### 8.4 No Security Guarantee

Although the Application is designed to enhance your device’s security, no 100% security guarantee is provided. Protection may be bypassed in cases of advanced attacks or device rooting.

## 9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RedLightApps and its officers, employees, and agents cannot be held liable for:

– Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

– Loss of profits, data loss, or business loss

– Damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application

Since some jurisdictions do not allow liability limitations, the above limitations may not apply to you.

## 10. Indemnification

If you use the Application in violation of these Terms, you agree to indemnify RedLightApps, its officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorney fees).

## 11. Termination

### 11.1 Termination by User

You may terminate your use of the service at any time by removing the Application from your device.

### 11.2 Termination by RedLightApps

RedLightApps may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms.

### 11.3 Post-Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the Application immediately ends and you must remove the Application from your device.

## 12. Dispute Resolution

### 12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

### 12.2 Jurisdiction

Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.

### 12.3 Mediation

You agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before initiating legal proceedings.

## 13. General Provisions

### 13.1 Changes to Terms

RedLightApps reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified within the Application. Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

### 13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

### 13.3 Waiver

RedLightApps’ failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

### 13.4 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RedLightApps regarding the use of the Application and supersede all prior agreements.

### 13.5 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without RedLightApps’ written consent. RedLightApps may assign its rights at any time.

### 13.6 Language

These Terms are prepared in English. In case of any inconsistency between any translation and the English text, the English text shall prevail.

## 15. Special Provisions

### 15.1 Accessibility Service Usage

The Application uses Android Accessibility Service to provide app locking functionality. This service:

– Is used solely for app locking purposes

– Does not collect or share user data

– Is activated with explicit user permission

– Can be disabled at any time

### 15.2 Advertising Policy

The free version contains advertisements through Google AdMob. Advertisements:

– Are placed in a way that does not obstruct the app experience

– May be personalized or non-personalized

– Can be removed with premium subscription

### 15.3 Children’s Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age. Parents are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the Application.

### 15.4 Recovery Key

If you forget your password:

– You can regain access using the recovery key

– It is your responsibility to keep the recovery key in a safe place

– RedLightApps cannot recover forgotten passwords

### 15.5 Update Policy

The Application is regularly updated. Updates:

– Include bug fixes and performance improvements

– May add new features

– Include security patches

– Can be installed automatically or manually
